LazyCure is a free, open-source personal time-tracking and productivity application built on the .NET framework. Designed by developer Vitaliy Fedorchenko (vitalliuss), the tool acts as an easy-to-use digital diary for personal time-logging, time-management, and activity analysis. Core Methodology
Unlike automated trackers that constantly spy on your screen or log every background system process, LazyCure relies on user-driven, mindful input. It operates on a simple premise: you tell the app what you just finished doing, and it calculates the time elapsed since your last entry.
The Hook: When you switch tasks, you open the app and type in your completed activity.
Automatic Calculation: The app automatically notes the current time, checks when the previous task ended, and calculates the precise duration of the activity.
Minimizing Effort: You only have to type the name of the activity, making it perfect for a “lazy” but highly accurate approach to time-tracking. Key Features
Time Log Editor: A dedicated built-in editor allows you to retroactively tweak your data. If you change a start time or duration manually, the rest of the schedule auto-recalculates to prevent gaps.
Statistics & Reporting: The software generates detailed reports to help you spot time-wasting habits and visualize how much of your day is spent on productive vs. non-productive tasks.
Cross-Platform Availability: Originally built as a lightweight Windows desktop client, mobile versions have also been developed, with code repositories available on GitHub. Who is it for? Возможности LazyCure
