Configuring the Auron SMS Server requires installing the software, running the primary configuration wizard, and setting up communication channels. This Windows-based application acts as middleware to integrate SMS, WhatsApp, and email capabilities into existing enterprise infrastructure. Step 1: Initial Installation and Setup
Before configuring the system, you must deploy the central files and initial folder directories.
Download the latest package from the Auron Software Download Page.
Run SMSServerSetup.exe to initiate the standard Windows InstallShield wizard. Designate a Program Directory for internal execution files.
Designate a Data Directory to store local configuration logs and automated trigger scripts.
Finish the installer to launch the automatic Configuration Wizard. Step 2: Running the Server Configuration Wizard
The Configuration Wizard maps how the central message service interacts with your underlying infrastructure.
Select Database Type: Choose between the internal default database or an external server like Microsoft SQL Server.
Configure High Availability: For mission-critical infrastructure, specify if this instance serves as a primary or secondary server node.
