How to Password Protect Flash Drives via Master Voyager

Master Voyager by InterCrypto protects USB flash drives by creating password-encrypted storage areas called “Secure Zones” using strong 256-bit AES encryption. Unlike other encryption programs, it installs an AutoPlay module directly onto the flash drive, meaning you can access your secured files on any computer running Windows without having the software installed locally.

Here is how you can use Master Voyager to create a password-protected flash drive and how to access it afterwards. Step 1: Create a Password-Protected Secure Zone Connect your flash drive to your computer’s USB port. Open Master Voyager on your PC.

Select your USB drive from the available drive options within the program’s interface. Click on the Create Empty Secure Zone button. Set a secure password for this zone when prompted.

Define the size of the partition zone based on how much free space you have on your flash drive. Step 2: Add Files to Your Secure Zone Keep the Master Voyager program open.

Click on the newly created Secure Zone and enter your password to open it.

Drag and drop or copy and paste the target files into the zone window.

Close the zone or eject the flash drive to automatically encrypt and lock the files behind your password. Step 3: Accessing Your Data on Other PCs Plug the flash drive into any Windows machine.

Open the drive directory and launch Mobile Voyager (the standalone launcher embedded in the drive). Select the Secure Zone and type in your password.

The software utilizes on-the-fly decryption, mapping the secure container as a virtual hard drive (like G: or Z:) so you can open documents instantly without extracting them to the host PC.

Simply unmount the zone or safely remove your USB stick to instantly lock the files again.

If you are open to alternatives, you can also look into hardware-encrypted physical flash drives like the Corsair Flash Voyager line or the Kingston IronKey line, which handle security natively on the stick itself.
